National Novel Writing Month. AKA: The night of endless All- Nighters.
Basically, members of NaNoWriMo (or Wrimos) write 50K word novel during November, but some are setting personal goals of 100k. Since this is my first time, I'm just going to do 50k. Is anyone else doing it? I think it sounds fun!

Every October for the past 4 years I've signed up for it, but never actually completed it. But I think I'm going to try and go through with it this year. It shouldn't be too terrible, it's only like 1,666 words per day. It should be fun. =]
yes!!! yay! you're doing it too! my friend katherine is doing it - www.manwathiel.blogspot.com - she's really cool, she's homeschooled and is a total science and LOTR geek and she totally rocks. i think we're the only ones... we all tried it last year and Kath was the only one who finished. i think i got up to 5k. not to discourage you or anything.
and i would LOVE to go to guatemala - but it would cost so much to fly to miami first! and i would be too scared to go on my own, halfway across the world. i'm praying about it, though. maybe it's just a big waste of money that could be used for more useful things here in cambodia??? cos it would cost SO much more for me to actually get to miami.

Wow, that's a lot to write in one month! geesh! and I'm complaining about writing a couple 2000-3000 word papers for school! hehe - guess I'm just a big suck! :)
Yes, I'm doing it too! Although offically i'm "too busy" to do it, i decided to sign up anyways and see what happens. Who knows?
